Weekend Update
Superbowl weekend is over and that means that the Superbowl is over, and of course that means I can write about other things once more. It was a sloppy, slippery, exciting game, if a bit embarrassing to watch for those poor bastards who couldn’t keep their hands on the ball. And the Superbowl ads weren’t half bad. My review of them has already become my most read post ever and it’s only been up for a few hours. It’ll die away though; such is the half life of commercial reviews. By this time next week we’ll have seen them all a dozen more times and not care anymore.
But, for now everyone wants to know about those career builder survivors or the snickers kiss. I’m more than happy to oblige.
In blog related news, Sean at 101 Reasons gave a shout out to my fruitless endeavors at Helium and so on. I shall have you know, I’ve now made a whopping $2.35 on Helium. Oh yes, that could buy me a slice of pizza. You know you want my slice of pizza. Well you can’t have any. I don’t share with Naysayers.
On the plus side, actual real jobs are starting to float my way. My shortlived experiment with the micropay sites is nearing its end. But, it was fun to troll message boards and harass other writers to ask, “is this seriously all you make on here?”
