Weeknd Update 1: Saturday…still snowing
It’s still snowing. I just got home from the part time and the snow’s still falling. I love the snow, but getting around is such a chore. I have to cancel at least two plans today and tomorrow morning because of the transportation issues. And it’s all that much more prescient when my friends are going to the pass to snow board and I get to fry chicken during the football game. But, on the plus side my coworker, also known as the coolest women on the face of the planet floated me a ticket to the Rock mastery of Tenacious D. An entire world of cool opens up right there. Anyways, as I sit lounging lazily in the electric glow of oh so much snow, and the dog barks angrily because my rear end is too frozen to lug his would up self outside for 20 minutes or more, I’m reminded that it’s still kind of nice to have a little bit of winter. Last year at this time, we were half way through 30 days in a row of rain.
