There's an interesting aspect to this story that I didn't mention because I try to keep my posts short enough to read in 60 seconds: Just before Starbucks announced that it was replacing Albom with Beah, Entertainment Weekly named "For One More Day" one of its five worst books of the year in the year-end double issue (dated Dec. 29/Jan. 5) http://www.ew.com/. You can't help wondering if somebody at Starbucks didn't say: How many more "worst of the year lists" does Albom have to make before we dump this guy? Thanks for the pingback!
